Good memory Kenny!! We re-augered and re-lined a RMH 12cube mixer. It was a few years back now and I think a new auger from RS agri was going to be about £4k against getting new flights from Rotospiral in Ireland about £1800. Ideally I'd have pulled the auger out, sent it to them and got it done, but we are in North East Scotland and they are in Southern Ireland so carriage both ways killed that idea. So I sent them full dimensions and photos and they sent new flights back in sections on a pallet which we welded on. Have to say they were pretty much spot on, very little trimming required, I enjoy a project and welding, but it was a fair heavy job. One thing worth noting is you can have the auger drilled to suit any blade choice you prefer(cheaper, stronger easier to get, etc) if you want I see that Rotospiral are in the UK now so that would change the whole game as far as delivery etc, I'd definitely use them again no problem, the mixer is still going strong. We lined the bottom 4 feet of the sides with 4mm plate, used a hydraulic ram to bend the sheets into shape and weld in, trimming them to fit was a pain with the curve and the slope of the sides meaning that the bottom edge was a tricky cut. We did away with the troublesome cross conveyor and moved the door to the side which was a lot of extra work but worth it for us. It was somebody on here that put me on to them but for the life of me I cant remember who. :banghead: :banghead:
