Auto correct is fecked

Browser compatibility is my guess - xenforo 1 (the forum software) is beginning to struggle with latest versions of many browsers

We will upgrade to xenforo 2 this year but there is a lot of work to do behind the scenes before that’s possible
@Clive I can successfully type messages on to the Times and the Guardian comments sections, I can leave messages on shooting, gamekeeping, labrador and canoeing forums, I can go on to a wide variety of websites to purchase things, I can use WhatsApp and Facebook but when I come on this forum - and only this forum - with an Andriod phone using Chrome the autocorrect goes mad making it virtually unusable. If this is one of the UK's leading forums could you get it into gear? Thanks.

The issue is that xenforo1 (the current forum software) is loosing a lot of compatibility with various recent browser updates, some browser are ok and others are problematic

the solution is for tff to upgrade to the recent released xenforo 2 software which we are currently working on, it will cost 10's of thousands to do that and as it is relatively new software we can't do so without loosing some functionality of the current site, but we are working on it and within the next tcouple of months the update will happen

much as I would like to press a button and fix these things i'm afraid its not that simple !

I don't get autocorrect wining. If you can't work with it (like me) turn it off. But, always read the thing before you hit the reply button. Blaming autocorrect is blaming yourself.
Yeah I know, slightly off topic.

I think the point is that they are trying to type the correct text but the auto correct then messes with the typed text.

Personally I think they’ve been on a bender.
