Try getting the battery fully charged then stop leave a few mins and start again, long shot, but worth a try if you have time.

Any error codes? Did you try and start it with the battery flat by any chance? They have been known to wipe the ECU configuration if you do.

A lot of things will, nothing now should really be jump started due to surges.

It’s a recalibration job, ours has done the same after trying to start with a flat battery. The low voltage scrambled the ECU

Mine did that and had to be reprogrammed. Similar to yours went into limp home mode.

When it happened to one of ours dealer had to put the laptop on it to get the handbrake to release seems it get confused after a jump start somtimes

Turn ignition on. Press foot brakes. FNR lever into neutral position. Press and hold neutral button on end of lever. You will here the park brake motor go off then on again. This is the park brake re initialized. If that doesn't work then its a laptop job to re configure everything

Starter motor can draw excessive current when cranking causing to wipe the ECU settings too.

Best thing is to start it. Run the engine for a few minutes to put some charge on the battery. Then turn the tractor off and restart.

Would disconnect battery, charge it properly on a bench charger and then reconnect. If that doesn't work, dealer job.

It didnt work but dealer mechanic said put it in park, that did the trick, holding the neutral button dowN in park

the problem is most people need the tractor there & then, and probably don't have a spare battery kicking around.

Fair call though, it would be good to charge the battery properly when possible.

Yes, but having just done this with a JD 6920 I wouldn't let an alternator charge a dead flat battery again. The alternator got very hot even to the point that I shut the tractor off and hit it with the airline to cool it down. Charged the battery proper and no problems.

I beleieve it's better to try and charge a flat battery on a machine at tick over but I was trying to sharpen the forager at high idle which probably caused the trouble. Less current at idle.

I guess one way around this is to leave the jump cables on between the two tractors for a bit to let the battery equalise for a bit too.

Changing the battery is a mission in itself
U have to dismantle half the tractor.
