Who has one? Good points and bad points. I am running 4 robots and think this would be a good addition to the system. If any one near Bude or Holsworthy has one and would be happy for me to come and have a look/chat about it drop me a pm.

Mines not automated. It's a jet wash. Search four cows on Facebook. He will sort you out and he's only a 10 minute drive from Holsworthy.

I've finally sorted my DD woes and funnily enough for very little cost. It's taken enough years to find a satisfactory solution.

Most have completely healed. Few of the worst one's are gone black and still healing. But they are dead lesions.

The joy is I'm perfectly happy to continue with my footbath in routine as it's a pittance.

I have got the cowcare one , been faultless , the only down side is sometimes for some reason it starts to make cow visits drop off to the robot , I pull it out and visits pick up again , other times I can leave it in for weeks with no adverse affects to visits , I have tried putting a connect to earth from it in case it was stray voltage but makes no difference . Really solved digi though , however having some bother with foul at the moment so would really like to leave it in full time but just losing too many visits , hopefully when I get grazing nights as well it will be fine again as nothing stops the cows wanting to get out to grass .
Mine has the tread plate floor , maybe if you have the rubber floor one they would prefer it although even when visits drop I never see any cow show any signs of not being 100% happy to walk through it , in fact the biggest problem is they just stand it for a couple of mins and lift their tail , it really does baffle me

The jetwash is an absolute fantastic piece of kit But it MUST be maintained which can be its downfall. If this maintenance is neglected it will break your heart, treat it right and it will work faultlessly.

What chemicals are ppl using like the idea of digi free we use formalyn and cling on blue which is not cheap and formalyn makes feet hard if used to often

Whats the difrence between your jetwash footbath and your autoflush walkway

Jetwash pumps water from a sump at high pressure through jets to wash feet. Also has a mechanical filtration system to clean the water of hair ect to stop the pump and jets blocking up. Needs manual emptying and cleaning but does automatically dose chemical through a dosatron.

autoflush is just a footbath that doses chemical and empties itself, washes itself and refills.
