Ploughed up a chunk of me grazing ground this time.

How best to explain.

Put it this way, have you ever seen a steak being marketed as having a high blood content?

The piffling amount of soluble carbohydrates in a heap of plant tissue is basically inconsequential compared to the monster amount of big structural carbohydrates which is what ruminants actually digest and run on.

Digestibility is far more important.

apart from when you are trying to make silage. The soluble sugars are essential for fermentation hence why Clover and Lucerne struggle without grasses in the UK.

Aston have High Sugars and disease resistance and persistence is excellent

last of our autumn reseeds, going in today, behind forage rape, tine worked, p/h, nice seed bed, on an exposed south facing hill, beautiful p/h ing yesterday, fantastic view, nice and sunny, till i got out the cab, that wind was cold.
