Has anyone done this?

Could this not be done with water and sprayed onto the surface? Looks like 90% anti drift nozzles which obviously be extremely important for this job.

It’s omex....
Their sprayers are set up for suspension fert, high cap pumps, pipe work etc
I don’t think it would work with water as spec gravity of the fert is very different. It’s really thick sort of stuff.

not intending to adam! Just wondering why this never caught on... Must be very abrasive on the sprayer pipework/pumps. I take it your all drilled up now before the rain?!

As above, you'll need a sprayer set up for suspension fertiliser with big nozzles and excellent agitation. The clay granules will only stay in suspension.

I've got 200ha to do, someone is in a rather bad mood this morning!

I can imagine. It's bad luck because they really weren't talking about this much. You have to be placated though that you did the right thing to wait on some of those more problematic BG fields. Most sensible people would have done the same. Although I can imagine this will make your father less keen to wait another year.

We had 15mm, I'm not worried will have them drilled by the end of the week fingers crossed. These fields 'seem' fairly clean by a couple of years ago they were absolutely smothered. Not undoing good work because we can't be patient.

15mm is quite a bit better than 26mm.

Which is better than 37mm in the last 4 days... The forecast is better later this week so you'll be able to crack on then. You might even have another flush of blackgrass for spraying off first. Someone needs to relax a little! 200 ha with a 12m drill won't take very long.
