Avadex timing

Can avadex go on with the crop starting to emerge? or is it to late. We don’t get some on last week with it being so windy and wet.

What does your agronomist say?

Avadex (mapp. 17872) can’t be applied at/after emergence as label restricts application to pre-emergence timing. Older labels didn’t have this restriction....

It will be crop safe as it used to be used right through autumn for wild oats years ago. It won’t do much good on blackgrass that is already emerging as it needs to be taken up by the leaf as it comes through the ground.
It, however, is no longer legal to do post emergence due to the label.
