CAD - Cardboard Aided Design

when we were only running 2D cad at FarmForce resorted to the cardboard for drill hoppers on a couple of occasions before moving up to 3D Cad which once you’ve changed your mindset and got your head round it is so much better and easier and allows you to be far more creative and imaginative.
I used to use autocad many years ago.
Never did 3d as it was fery new and expensive

Looks extremely interesting. I have to ask though; wouldn’t it be easier to slap 1 or 2 used horstine twin airs on? I’ve seen it done on an agribuggy; looked just the job(?). Not having a dig; looks like you’re doing an awesome job, just interested in your thought process

I have used that type of machine.
In my opinion they are shy of airflow. The product takes a good while to reach outside of boom.
I also want to be able to spread wheat as the other autumn I spread over 250 ha. In a wet autumn it was a lifeline both for me and my customers

Very interesting thread. How are you going to drive your metering units and will you be able to shut them off individualy?
Thanks.
I have a kuhn aero rate controller and hyd motor with valve which will drive and vary rate once set
Yes individual metering unit shut off to give 4 section controls
