That is California. Sown early October.

That's fairly normal. Stem elongation can go on for a while longer yet so don't write off Terpal just yet if it looks fizzy.

It has moved on a huge amount now, some of it is nearly mid chest high as well!!

Good strong heads on it and should be a good crop of straw with the grain.

fair play that does look a good crop with potential,but after the last 2 years of rain and wind in central scotland,if that was mine i would book the agbag now or accept that i will scrape little more than10% of it off the ground in october!...... i"m just jealous.
