we bought 9 out of the trenhale sale, really nice solid cows, bigger than i expected though, but, as they are, or very nearly dry, the proof will be, when they calve ! bought 5 yearlings, as well, they are filling out nicely.
With Ayrshire conference cancelled Richard made this vid of the milkers for those that would rather look at cows than watch rubbish on telly

Marley cote Fleur 69 sells today as lot 7 in the border and Lakeland sale at Carlisle , she's was 84 point as a heifer and did 7800 with her first calving at 2 year old , giving 44 a day calved 4 th sept ! with a cell count of 21 !! She has 5 gens vg/ex before her and she looks like she LL make vg as she develops ! Robot trained , cubicle trained , bvd , ibr vaccinated and bvd tissue tag negative , 4 year tb aswell !

5 generations back we get to the Fleur we bought from your Dad in the early 90`s.
Been a cracking family for us.
We have a DS line & a Ayr line bred from her
One has just won The Shorthorn Society Gold cup with the highest components in the history of that competition & the 1st Shorthorn fleur we bred won that competition 3 times

You are wrong there.
You will find loads of dairy charactor in our cows, you will not find any extreeme holstein types.
They just don`t suit our system
