I am 32yo and have spent my working life between either working in the Aquatics industry or working in Electrical Wholesale where I recently resigned from a post as Assistant Manager due to some issues with the management but I wont get into that here.
My mates have mostly either grown up on farms or worked on farms and it has always interested me but I have never pursued farming as a career until recently I have started researching into smallholding and all the different avenues you could make money on.it a viable business venture.
I am now at the stage where I am considering going back to college (already have an ND in aquatic management) to study farming at HNC level or above but I would first like to get some experience on a farm so if anybody is looking for some help over the summer on a part-time/temporary basis
I would appreciate the opportunity.
In an ideal world there would be some form of pay involved, either a fixed rate per shift or an hourly rate but I may be willing to take on voluntary work if I can fit it around other part time jobs I will be picking up in the mean time.
