Probably be better 400 foot long then get 2000 in if need be.
Yes probably. Just bear in mind if you go for scrape passages either side (recommended) and a 2.9m wide gate, you've got to have a man enough scraper machine to get that far down a long building. Most centreless augers will get half way down that building so you can auger from bins at either end or plan for a transfer auger

How many would you get in 12,000 square feet?
Who provides the feed
And what do they pay a day?
Would you get a contract for one batch through the summer?
1200
They do
approx 87ppppweek incl bonuses
you might as some arable farmers do not do a summer batch.

Edit:
Could be less than 1200 and you may not get the bonuses if loose housed.

1000 pigs at t 60p seems to be the rate that most are offering there abouts, but some are a bit more and have performance related bonuses which are a pat on the back for attention to detail and doing your job properly as apposed to seeing how quick you can get them done and get out, we average quite abit more than that and are happy with what we get considering the time put in. Normally pigs are done by 7.30 to 8.00am which gives us the rest of the day to do what ever.
What sort of price point are you giving per pig place and has anyone bedded them on something other than deep litter or straw .Think the straw thing is played out even the mushroom men are now on the hunt for alternative alot being ploughed back into ground carbon footprint 🙄

@JP1 how dear was that per place? Feel free to pm.
I didn't build the shed

The client is very savvy and definitely paddles his own canoe design wise as well as maximising his budget

I nearly put a rider on the pictures that there would bound to be an expert coming along and saying it was too expensive !

What this farmer wants is an easy to do system as he's got arable and veg interests and a good muck creation system

he's got both and Wold Farms like the set up and assist during the finisher draw
