Isn’t that the truth
That's always been my strategy, or, by the time I can afford something, it has gone out of fashion. Making our 1960s JCB 6D the height of current fashion. ( It's not actually mine, it's my dad's hobby/toy that often comes in really useful, alongside the backhoe, telehandler and micro digger. Nothing under 10 years old)That’s it, the need to follow fashion and the crowd, stand still long enough you’ll get them running past you again in the opposite direction!
Therein lies the problem, no one is getting a "ticket" to drive them as it isnt easy, so not point in buying them if there are no drivers, and construction sites dont mind paying a fee to lowloader a digger to site.Yes i think it has.along with the fact that as the old operators retire the youngsters struggle to use them.a good man on a 180 is worth his weight in gold and they are very versatile machines as mentioned above
