Does anyone use them in mobile yards? Most videos online are in permanent yards, or there’s just a few sheep in a prattley as a demonstration.
Just a bit wary how much it would all move about with a lot of sheep pushing. I can peg it down on grass but most of the time it’s set up on a hard standing.

I use my dog inside the prattley. It’s often pegged into a fence though.

I can only use him on the lambs though- the bloody ewes jump out!

If it's on hard standing I reckon it'll be all over the place like a skating rink with a dog.

That’s what I’m thinking! It is pretty much always set up in the same place so could concrete in some supports to keep it in place.

I think you'd need quite a few, like every hurdle! 3 winters ago I snapped some prattley hurdles trying to draft Welsh ewes with the dog pushing up

i use the kelpie in them fine,you just need to be able to tell them to stand or get out when needed,the huntaway pup on the other hand
