Backrow Max Adjuvant for enhancing pre-em herbicides.

We have used it hoping it would stop the chemical washing down to the rooting zone but I honestly don’t know if it works. Not much help I know.

Used it last couple of year and wouldn't be without it especially this year , holds it tighter in the top zone less chance of leaching to the seed.

I use it. So much of the weed control programme relies on good performance of the pre emergence herbicide that I am prepared to pay a bit of "insurance" in the hope of a % or 3 of better efficacy.

Did you spray a part of field without it, to judge it's effectiveness?
A friend with bg issues did some trials and the results were well worth the outlay , we are lighter soil than him and with these wetter backends we feel it holds it in the profile and doesn't dilute the efficacy. Think present weather may being pushing it though.
