On the basis that the US looks like it could well be having another long hard winter with record early snowfalls on the East coast, I'm going to stick my neck out and say we will get a mild winter, hopefully not as stormy and wet as the last one, on the basis that if the cold air spills down from the North Pole into N.America again like last winter, it can't be over here as well.

I would gladly take a harsh winter over constant heavy rain, the last severe winter i remember would have been 1982.
