Heard of the police on a blue light call hit a badger flat out, had to return to the station because it was stuck in the front grill!

One ran out in front of wife's car at 50 mph,did £600 of damage and just kept running. They're tough little sods. Makes you wonder how many roadside casualties have other injuries

Had four years of cull,started seeing hedgehogs again a couple of years ago.Saw a pair of grey partridge last week,first for over twenty years.Not had to swerve to avoid a badger on the road since the cull got going.

MG enthusiast, 73, accidentally torched his beloved car starting blaze which destroyed his uninsured home

The blaze began while Tony Cummins was working on one of his vintage cars at his home in Llanarmon-yn-Lal. He suffered burns as his home was reduced to rubble and killed some of his cats. He and his wife have been left with just two bin bags of belongings.

I watched the fire develop as I was clamping silage.

We have the (rehomed) urban foxes delivered at random to us here in Norfolk. Yes I am seeing badgers also for the first time in many many years.

fox control, we had a steep bank, with gorse on it, always good for a multi kill, for yrs, then nothing. Found out later, they were urban foxes, caught up, in a van, pull of the main road, under it, tiny lane, open the door, and bugger off. Explains why we could shoot one, and the rest sort of stayed around, for their turn. But it was cruel to release foxes, into the country, when they didn't know how to survive..

There's a drag hunt based locally and a fox ran straight towards them and got deconstructed. It's ears had tattoo numbers

This story of road kill being mainly actually shot badgers has no actual truth in it, just an internet myth promoted by certain wildlife groups, given credence to the populace by the Archers promotion of a story line with it

Ridiculous that we are even discussing this. Licences to kill badgers should be freely available where it is necessity to do so and hunting during an open season should be allowed, same as the rest of Europe. They are all laughing at us!

Perhaps mods could clean some of this up. One screen shot of that and it paints the entire industry in a bad light. There are good people out there campaigning for change on this and real successes happening with culls. The poor people who put their hand up to coordinate it do not need the backlash that some of these comments will cause.

There's a pole doing the rounds about free speech in our universities. Do we permit that or is censorship preferable?

Personally, I have great faith in the common sense of the British public, provided they have the facts on which to make their decision.
