No, they are for heavy square type ones, looking for ones for standard spring tine cultivator type of tine. Thinking of making something to oversow grass seed but shallow.

Not sure such a coulter exists...the Simtech coulter fits on to either a 25mmx25mm tine or on the latest drills a 30mmx30mm tine..

I think the Taege drill uses an S type tyne, but there is no uk importer. You would have to import from NZ direct.

    Thanks BSH.
Been looking at more of the maxipoints, some quite promising looking ones there.

duncan used to make a S tine till seeder
    http://www.trademe.co.nz/business-farming-industry/industrial/other/750/auction-611098898.htm
think had a seeder tube welded to back of tine with a knife opener ummmmm was so-so they dropped it and went to the inch tines
teage use the bigger S tines used to use the smaller ones they also have a angle on the mounting so tine sits back
http://taege.com/html/body_3pl_vineyard.html one of the pic's on there shows the set back makes the tine move up and down more than backwards and forwards like the work on a tiller

dont think those maxi points yer talking about would fit a S tine not alot of s tine machines in Oz and would not be used for DD so i would question if they are made there

we see some cast points here for S tines but too big for DD

you could get 6 mm bisalloy 650 and weld on to standard points to make a knife opener even the teage is more a knife than a t opener

Did you try the Maxi point boots? How did you get on with them. I was interested in the Taege ones but they are very expensive compared to the Maxi points.

No, didn't try sidetracked my funds into a 7.5 meter weed wiper. Need to recoup some funds. Your right JD-Kid looking for more of a knife opener to tear through the sward and roots and seed blown into slot with an air drill.
