Unable to find a grab the suited to tightly stacking mini Hesston haylage I had a go at making one, after 75000 bales it is now showing signs of wear this is its replacement.

It's worked really well I wanted a grab that would stack bales tightly together and unstack without puncturing them all the grabs on the market have big paddles making it difficult to stack without gaps.

I have a backplate works kinda like that I bought for £100, think it was used for waste paper but the arms are bolted on so I had planed to make something kinder to bales, but I never got that far.
