just your average bale trailer but getting past its best quickly and funds wont cover a new one so had to bring out the gas axe and the welder again

trailer 1.jpg
so the old rotted and not even there in some cases bits were cut out
20170606_170112.jpg20170710_170805.jpg
more rot and more bits to weld in
20170628_120453.jpg
bit of paint
20170705_084901.jpg
might as well do it right new lights fitted
20170722_112242.jpg

with the new higher speed ready wheels and it is ready to go back to work

Wheels are higher speed rated but not the axle!!! looks good otherwise!!!
brake pads are a harder compound that the standard and the bearings were washed out and repacked and as you probably know they are the same bearings in high speed axles .

the trailer is seldom used at full weight limit unless it is bales out of a field so the tractors 55k top speed is not used then anyway and with the vintage tractors on its only a few runs through the summer so didn't see much point changing what has worked since 2002
