Bale trailers

That marshal system just looks ugly, and like it's going to get covered in mud...

@haybob the rear ladder is a bit of a nuisance to be honest... A kicker bar is much more convenient to use with round bales but I don't know if marshal even offer it. Ours is off most of time

The netting will have a bungie cord sown into it that pulls that keeps the net off the ground and stops it from getting muddy. The benefit of the netting system is that when it is in the down position you can still move the trailer or unhitch it. You can't really do that with a steel frame design.

We do offer a bale bar for the rear of our trailers if requested.

But if your in the tractor to move it you would just pull a spool valve and lift the sides and clamp the part load.

What did you go for?
A Marshall. Very much liked the one I borrowed, good reports from both @DrDunc and someone else l know near me who has one. By chance I saw the salesman from the dealer I'd contacted (who apparently hadn't been given my message) on Saturday and in fairness to him, he got home and gave me a quote that evening. I'd seen a 2014 model advertised locally and has since sold (with a secondhand machinery dealer), a new one was £700 more. It was a no brainer, probably better than money in the bank!

New trailer arrived today. Straight out to the field for a load.

Just been looking at optional extras, wonder what benefits are with the optional 355? Don't seem a very common extra
