Bale wrap prices

If anyone wants a quote for Cordex Silacord silage wrap give me a PM. It's a five layer film with high puncher resistance and very high uv technology.

cordexagri-uk.cordex.com

We are also doing a silage kit. Net and Wrap on one pallet with enough net for the wrap.

I have used the net and wrap on my Vicon 2190 baler and wrapper for four years now and I have been using their string for over 10 year. So will be happy to answer any questions.

If you go to agritiols.cordex.com/uk you can find out exactly how much you would need with your size bale and with your machine.

You can also get the app version from all of the good app stores. (y)

Thanks but I was looking for actual experience from users which can differ from manufacturers claims. I haven’t used silotite but get 23-24 bales from farmfilm wrap at 6 layers.

Sorry see what you mean. I think I've gotten 22 out of silotite and the cordex wrap. A lot depends on machine your using, overlap, stretch ratio and actual size of bale.

To be honest with my baler and wrapper you select the number of layers you want it then does the rest. It seem to add an extra lap per 2 inch....... I think:scratchhead:

Always used to get 22 from Silotite, but last few years it has varied but always less than that, down to about 20 on occasion.Much prefer Unterland, always does 21/22 and seems thicker

We always use Silotite green on haylage and have just been afraid to take a chance on another brand. The others may be better it's just making the change is the problem. The prices are nearly the same most times .

Best way is to try! I have got a guy having a pallet of white this year to try. We suggested white so he can tell which one is which. He has used Cordex string for many years and very happy with it but never knew they did wrap. Will be a good experiment! I'm always happy to put a product I'm confident in up against the competition.
