You must be from Yorkshire if you think that disposal is expensive! About 12p a roll? Very little compared to purchase price?I swapped to using ALL Silotite this year as feed up with 800 plastic tubes a year and having problems re disposal. Have used some for drainage but my local recycling centre will take the but at around £100 fore to pay and I have to take them in
We have cardboard tubes with wrap on that got left out in the rain, the tubes swelled and now won't fit on the baler. Any one with an idea how to get them to fit again? Almost 2 full rolls!Mine are all cardboard this year. I have saved them and will have a go at using them as fuel in the log burner.
