why is the silage expensive ?its supposed to help weaning check, a lot to do with the effects of the creep on the rumen I thought? surely a bit creep is more cost effective than feeding expensive silage to both cow and calf?

Just a heads up for anyone needing a quantity of wrap or net prices are out now,for an early deal you can get top quality edge to edge net for around £130 for 3600m and 750 black wrap for £50/roll.I don't think these prices will last after end of March.Several companies in the SW have these prices.what price will we be expected to pay for net rap?

Just over £50 at mole valley for black.I was quoted £58 for black 750mm per roll from Wynnstay yesterday.
Is that for black or green ?I'm going to be really cheeky here, and put our prices up - if anybody is interested just drop me a pm and I'll do my best to sort something.
500mm x 1800m - £47.25
750mm x 1500m - £53.95
We'll be placing our order at the end of March - so prices will alter after that.
