How much would you expect to be paid per hour?
Everyone on here says folk driving on HS2 are making eleventy million quid an hour?
Sounds like the lad is bored to tears shifting shyte despite the stupid rate of hourly beer tokens

Far more satisfying driving a nice complicated bit of agri kit and having to occasionally think (despite earning less then two pints and a bag of crisps per day)

I grew out of that a long time ago. I'd rather have regular well paid work than 30 hours in a row then don't come in this week because its raining.
Driving tractors is just as boring in my opinion, although I probably wouldn't have said that when I was a young fella.

Still be curious to know what he's making at the moment.

Tell him to try Heath’s at Armscote or Henry Righton at Moreton in Marsh or there’s a big contracting outfit near Kenilworth, Sansons I think. All close to him.

Why would you want to drive a square baler?

There are much better jobs out there! You'll regret it when underneath the baler on a hot day trying to rethread a needle with barley awns going down back of your neck and covered in dust!🤦‍♂️

Or when you pick up a wet/green lump of straw and have to start dismantling the baler to get it unblocked.😭
