Wanting to put a quad of straw though the Little baler and having a few small square straw bales, what’s best way to go about doing it?

Just putting one quad through and that’s it!

We sometimes get rodent damage in the stack of small bales, Dad would just fork loose bales into the baler or tell me to. Now I take everything out in the field, nip through with haybob & then bale as normal.

You could easily do that with one quad.

buy a pitch fork shake out flaps ,but do not use it when the tractor on the baler is running

I've seen contractors drag the bale out into a dram, put the self propelled over it, blow into a pile and feed it by hand into the baler.

We haven’t got bedding machine ...

tough dont do it by hand it aint worth the risk.

Ok if someone needs a few small bales.

But I've never got my head around rebaling large numbers of bales.

Surely with modern flat 8 gear, easier to just bale the small ones at harvest?

Done 2000 extra small bales this winter. Pitch fork into front of baler. Just did it when the wind was blowing in the right direction.

We don’t use a bedder but dish the straw out with on old style trolley, but this time had a few bales that were short stuff, a pain in the arse to handle cos it’s like water when the bale is open! Got one left and thought this might mAke it easier to handle?? I’m f@@@@@ off with it!!!

Lay the clumps down and drive over them until they are all picked up.

Me and my brother baled 200 rat damaged up in January/February forking it through.
Felt badly for two months and my nose has only just stopped running. Never again

The quad straw is like a brick, when i tried it i fudged the needles

You dont want that number in the 80's !!
Blood/oxygen level.

Someone with oxygen saturation below 88-90% would be a cause for some alarm in hospital. Below 80% and your organs won't like it.
