I've a ton bag full your welcome too.

Once saw a mineral bag full of twine sell for £10 at farm sale. Wasn't even entered guys just picked it up!

But If you do have to buy it ... a pack of conventional small baler 'hay twine' will be a good choice for that job, not thick and not too thin , about 20 quid should be Tama etc from an ag store.

To save embarrassment read this first!!

Local teacher wanted some sisal baler cord many years ago, she had used all that the farmer she knew had got and wanted more. He had burnt what he didn't need so she asked where she could buy some.
So the farmer pointed her in the direction of Murch Brothers, IH dealers at Umberleigh.
Off she goes and asks the store man for some sisal cord. He comes back with a twin pack of balls and dumps them on the counter. She looks round the balls looks at store man, looks at balls. Storeman asks is there a problem? She said well yes , I wanted the 8 foot lengths with the little knot at on end!
