Is anyone running a 80mm ball hitch on a sumo quattro or any other primary cultivators?
We ran one on 4.5m trio but ran it then on sumo’s link arm frame (only way we could pull it on 400hp was using draft) but so much better then when on hook no banging and next to no wear it was 7years old ball and spoon still like new

80mm will stick most things, if your worried loading may be too high and get excessive wear you can get a 110mm ball but that really is a monster.
80mm can be fitted on 12m cultivators so will easily Cole with the loading. Much better than a pin as no slack in the system.

Thanks for the replies, how do they stack up price wise?
Depends on what you go for. Some are designed for a drawbar and have a manual locking tab. Others which are designed to work in a PUH with have auto locking when the hitch is retracted.
All depends on the tractor and use.
