Some of the economic experts on this thread were cheer leaders for lockdowns and furlough. That is directly linked to the current situation and what will pan out over the next 2 years.
Dad started out with rabbits both tame and catching wild ones, they went on the train to London. Reckoned he had a dog that would run after them and catch them till he couldn't walk and he put him on the bike along with all the rabbits and the light and push the lot home.
Oh well when some jakey is selling your kids cocaine just remeber you learned car washes are money laundering scum here first .I'm not sure all Eastern Europeans are automatically criminals. And to be honest, I would rather hand them money than the criminals at Shell and BP.
Only if the inflation is on Uk produced and taxed goods. The inflation is mostly on energy (imports) and food (mostly untaxed and high percentage of imports). At the same time the BoE will have to reverse buying government bonds in-line with interest rate rises which will lead to a large increase in the cost of government borrowing. Also at the same time your core UK Tax basis on services is going to go into a recession hence reducing your tax income.Well you say that but with inflation rocketing, any government borrowing will be dropping in value as well?
That’s just plain crazyPeople pay to watch someone to wash their car, I don‘t think they‘ve got any interest in cooking.
