Bare minimum N rates

Did a field test a few years ago and put no inputs on a small area. Over the weighbridge it did 1.5t/acre. Then did another small area of no N but with 3 x fungicide and it did 2.0t/ac. 3rd area was 120kg N and 3 x fungicide and it did 3t/acre and finally 120kg N and 1 x fungicide and it did 3t/acre.

I'm tending towards just using normal levels of most things. Could take a K holiday but the stuffs on the farm anyway, chicken litter is all spread, NS is either here or booked at early prices. I might trim back the N on the wheat to 180 but that's a decision based on what the weathers looking like and to be honest the crops and weather could look brilliant at the last N timing but then run out of water in July.
I'm tempted to try a strip at 50% to see what happens though, probably still need 4 sprayer passes though as early Mn will be required and need something for eyespot and flag leaf is the key timing and ear disease can hit yield late on as well. And if you let wild oats or broadleaves get away they impact for years to come. There is a certain minimum level you need to do, it's just finding what works on your place.
