Appreciate the harvest updates, but with reference for example to Phil P's post above, it would be nice to know how "just shy of 3t/ac" compares with an average year.
Last year the winter barley average for the total acreage was 3.3 t/a. That was over a weigh bridge. It won’t be anywhere near that this year though. Spring barley did really well last year at 3.6t/a (we’ve never had spring barley do so well) but will be lucky if it does 2 this year more likely 1.5!:(
