Barley moving dilema!

Just tried to load some barley out my storage bin-conveyor-cup elavator-conveyor-loading auger setup and bang cup elevator snapped. Hoping to re-attach but don't think it's going to be straightforward and now blocked up with grain. Looking for a backup if anything breaks. Are these sucker/blowers good? Kongskilde seem to be only brand I see but all look a fair age. Can you start the feed with flexible hose? Bins are self emptying which is a good start which I could empty onto floor then suck/blow into lorry. No access for loader/forklift. Something PTO powered I think

The science does not work well for sucker blowers. They are though fairly good at blowing upwards ie. filling silo’s.
The big problem is keeping the blown material in the air flow so vertical good, horizontal not good

The British ones I have used I agree wholeheartedly, some of those American ones I see on the U tube videos look the business - the Welkers have a good one for instance.
Yeah they seem to be a lot more popular over there. Only see these kongskilde ones here but lots of brands over there filling silos and trailer for fun. Looks to be faster than loaders/buckets too. Is everyone missing a trick in the UK?

In the middle.
We have a kongskilde, on day it will just about move 5t/hr next day on same set up it will move 25t/hr. No rime or reason for it. Years ago we had a Walinga agrivac (I think), on a farm we share farmed and that could move about 90t/hr in good wheat but ive not seen one since.

That’s a shame because I have a 3 phase one available for sale,
As long as you have the proper suction head overloading the blower is not a problem,
I am rather surprised at that statement. I have spent far too many hours at the suction end of both Kongskilde and Dunns blowers . I would not care to think how many times I have unblocked them.
To be fair if you have a very short suction and discharge pipes , no bends, a big tractor driving, ear muffs , dust mask, and built like a rugby prop , then yes they are not that bad.
i believe from memory machines such as the Walingga were built as bulk loaders so pipe goes up and over into lorry with no horizontal run where all the issues occur,

Correct, I've never blocked one using the suction head and adjusting the flow to suit.
Just alter the air bleed baffle and let it take it at it's own speed.

Also spent plenty of time using one, they only block when the operator is bored or greedy, every thing has its limitations,
And was a lot more flexible than an auger,
