Basic fert spinner.

Looking for good strong basic fertilizer spreader capable of holding 1800kg of urea.
Must spread to 24m, need it to work at 21m without having to maintain a specific rake angle above or below horizontal.
Hydraulic shutoff, hinged cover and lights, no other electrics.
Can be new or shop soiled.
Current machine Sulky, damaged by a 600kg granule today.

Vicon machine is well made. They do a nice basic version. Or another sulky. Well priced machines.

Do Amazones adjust drop point to calibrate spread pattern nowadays or still swap discs/vanes? Had an old ZAU and hated it, would not do 20m without tiger stripes.

Bugger! Hope you can sort it, I’ve problems with my KRM, will fix and make do after looking about and get prices to replace, lot of money for a tin box and a hydraulic ram

I currently need a fert spinner badly. Need something that’s very simple to use and doesn’t require a PHD to operate. Currently get a contractor to do all so no experience of fert spinners whatsoever.

Depends how much you want to spend. There is one in the back of south east farmer. £1000 ish. Hydraulic on off nothing more really. I have a Super Bowl which spreads 24m. I do 80 acres with it. Very simple, very cheap and spreads well. Can change the gear in the back to spread 12m if required. Paid £450 3 years ago.

Damage less severe than first thought, and with a bit of fettling it will go again long enough to wear out the new vanes I fitted.

Not used one but how about an older Kuhn with the one compartment into the feed point (but still twin discs ) an agitator that rotates at a separate ( slower ) speed to the discs
, and holes onto the disc straight down like a vari spreader not out to the side like my old amazone
