@admin Have you been able to find out how the renewal of nroso points works yet? My 3 year period is nearly up and I could do with a few more to stop the nroso gestapo from bothering me. My last points were credited to me on 13/08/2014

Cheers Drillman.

bumping his as my nroso points need adding also,
I go on the courses, (this years was indeed much better than previous years) but tallying points as well means going to 2 out of 3 courses , some years the course dates arnt convenient

I did mine on Aug 2014 and it says I am not yet eligible for any more. This is not really a problem as am pretty much up to date with points atm.
On another note, just had issues with NRoSO, basically they kicked me out due to me shortening my name :(.
In their defence a lovely girl called Michelle sorted it out very quickly and efficiently

BASIS launches mobile app for professional register members
BASIS has developed a new mobile app for Professional Register members that will revolutionise how Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points are recorded and administrated.
The free app acts as a digital ID card making it quick and easy for members to register CPD points and log participation in training activities and events. The app is compatible with all Apple and Android smartphones and can be downloaded from the App store or Google Play.
The new app means members will use their unique account number displayed as a barcode on their phone instead of a physical membership card to register for CPD points.
BASIS Professional Register members include qualified advisers and agronomists who advise on and sell crop protection and crop nutrition. To remain on the register, members must accrue a specified number of CPD points every year.
Event and training organisers will benefit from the new app. Less paperwork will make it simpler and quicker to register member attendance.
Stephen Jacob, Chief Executive of BASIS, says “The new app is part of BASIS’ ongoing commitment to provide technological solutions that meet the needs of our busy on-the-go members.
“The app automatically syncs to a member’s account allowing them to register and keep track of points awarded throughout the year.”
The new app has been launched as BASIS celebrates the 25 year anniversary of its Professional Register, which currently has 5,839 members and is still growing.
