Bateman Hi Lo battery

Need to replace the battery but the one currently fitted isn't I believe the right one. Does anyone know the correct amp rate for it please.

The biggest that will fit in the compartment in our experience of deutz air cooled with a lot of drag from the pump on a cold morning.

That's one reason why I need to get the right one, cold day starting is crap, I even thought the starter was on its way out.

My rb 16 is quite a slow starter, I have now fitted an isolator which has helped, must be something drawing a little bit all the time

Downside is the radio loses its memory each time

Weve got two batteries linked together on ours for this very reason. Just never could get it going on cold days.....

Did have to extend the tray to allow, but never had a problem since.
