Considering changing our sprayer, currently using an early 90’s Hardi 20m front/rear combination, 2000 litre total capacity. Pretty much stays on the same tractor most of the year, probably only comes on/off it half a dozen times of the year

I‘m looking at a 1993 Bateman Hilo, 8000 hrs, well maintained , looks in good nick, resprayed/rebushed booms. No leaking wheel motors. Is it likely to be a complete money pit, are parts still available???

Spraying 300 acres of wheat/barley/OSR and a bit of grass.

I keep looking at the nice Chafer Mirage in the classifieds but it just a bit more than I want to spend and probably just too big

Great machine. Engine servicing is a bit of a contortion, but no worse than some old combines. All parts and backup is available from Batemans at reasonable prices.

A very lightfooted and capable machine.
