Battery air fed face masks

Slightly left field but I have an air fed mask for cutting and burning, (still to buy the welding mask to go with it), battery pack lasts all day even in freezing weather, air is super clean as it basically removes smoke. Clear visor under the flip up burning visor, battery pack and fan on pack on your back, flexi pipe to mask.

Is what I have now, it's worked fine bar now the motor is getting very tired

I had one for the compost when i turned the windrows with the digger it was the gaffers answer to a air conditioned cab  .I will try remember the make .It did a good 8 hrs on a charge overnight with switching it off for breaks etc .I got the nick name Buzz Lightyear after sporting that :(

I have one of the airsheild ones above. Bought in 2016 according to amazone. It keeps me clean when cleaning out our dragon boiler and round grain store.

It has now broken one of the straps inside the helmet making it more uncomfortable. Have never foundvit great for moving about shovellung and sweeping as too much weight on your head. A seperate battery fan pack would be better.

Got a powercap here this year.. made cleaning grain stores and dryers out almost enjoyable! Great bit of kit for £200 off site box as previously mentioned. Motor could do with being a bit bigger if I’m honest though.., when it’s hot you feel like you could do with some more air. It’s fine but would be better with a slightly stronger breeze.

My turbovisor was like that
Fine on the combine but as soon as you start to get a sweat on it barely cope
It had a seperate battery and tbh was a bit of a pain, lead would catch on things unless you put it under your shirt

Site box are the ones who wont take returns on the failed fans.

Get the aircap with the better visor ,I have both type and much prefer the more solid visor. It stay in place much better

Powercap is also a compact hard hat, but you need that as you will bang your head more often due to the peaked cap blocking the view

I don't think there are any truly great ones out there. We have had a Trend Airshield Pro for the last 7 years to use on the combine. It's been reliable and does the job but feels bulky.
