Our old battery charger has finally bitten the dust, so looking for a new one:)

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations other than a new version of the old Sealey one that's just departed. Will need 12 & 24v charging & starting.

Any thoughts appreciated (y)

yep, c-tek, about the best out there.

i have a xs 25000 one here, at the time it was the only one that re generated a battery but the lower down models have that function now, iirc my one was 400 odd quid.
less would do most.

i havnt looked at them in a while but would i be right in saying the 7000 is an affordable one with all the bells, be best to check tho as im only going from memory.

Ive got a CTEK, MXS 25, and a bluepoint 12v/24v jump pack, and while not one unit like you asked for I wouldn't ever go to the charge start things again, the jump pack hasn't failed to start any thing I've asked of it yet (y)

Absaar are very good. Alot of big brand chargers are made by absaar. I have mine near 15 years. It's basic but has charged all sizes for tractors, trucks and cars. It hasn't had an easy life either.
Whatever you buy make sure to keep the damp off it.

I was in the same situation and bought the CTEK MXS 10 this evening off Amazon. Has extremely positive reviews and usable for charging and regenerating batteries from flat up to 200Ah capacity. See link below:

Was also very tempted by this offering from Absaar for nearly identical money:

Primarily tempted by its 'Jump Start' ability but from reading this forum, guys recommend to fabricate a portable jump start rig with a good battery (s) and leads instead of trying to jump through these plug in units.
