Nope. we all pull our weight here. :)

On the banner at the top of this forum, an Edonil cow with her heifer calf from last year. She's 9 years old now.

http://farmingdiscussions.proboards.com/

Cracking looking cow for a 9yr old (y) and a nice calf at foot (and I'm a Blonde fanatic).

Its like us in the Blondes, everyone needs to make their cattle pay. None of this outside investment artificially hiking prices up

This was the last calf of the season. Minnesota at one day old. Mum is one big heifer - Ipswich.

And dad was Jackson, who is fertility tested, and for sale. He's a real gentleman too.
Born end of April 2014.

DSC01228.JPG Very happy with the calving ease and growth, calves up and sucking in no time. Calves out the luing easy handled grow well on plentiful luing milk. Havent sold the calves yet I am keeping the heifers. All calves born red and staying red, one nice roan heifer as well.
The red calve in the picture was april born. Calving ease and all calved on time, only thing is be there as calve so easy in the cows they come out in the bag,bag not broken, I would really love to try some blue or blue x ,
The yellow calve was born a week ago its out of a heifer
They put shape on the luing and grow at a great rate. will let you know the weights etc of the bullocks when I sell them
The bull is a complete gent [ from choochter]

My cousin and one neighbour tried them as young cattle and cows, Mad was the general comment, the only cow to put my cousin on the roof of his loadall!

Sorry to hear that. Our foundation cow, and four more came from Leics. and although not shy, have been easy to handle. Home bred and handled by us from birth, all fine. The bulls particularly, have been great to handle.

My neighbours Bazadaise cow just calved outside in wild west highland weather last night, as usual she tucked thecalve in a dry place out the wind, her sister did the same last week. These are hardy wee no nonsense cows !

Always the boss cow. Which ever group they're in.
Cows with attitude is a better description. Bulls are as quiet as. Lovely to handle.
