Tesco begged our neighbour to go gritting at 3pm, when it was heaving it down with rain, then had to go back again after the rain had stopped.

Yup gritters went out before heavy rain, then the snow came, I ended up shovelling grit onto the road outside so folks didn't try to park IN our house. In the short time I was doing that I saw some pretty phuckwit driving - 2 women and an HGV

BBC reporting is becoming a joke on most subjects

Very true, all the BBC news output now needs to be read alongside Al Jazeera and Russia Today to get a bit of balance. Apologies for going OT a bit from the 'non' snow story but the issue of the media being used to control the story and thus other agendas is scary.

One of the most serious stories at present is the attempted and ongoing attempts by Israel to undermine the UK political system and Israel's willingness to support an effort to "take down" a British government politician whose views are deemed inconvenient to Israel. Can you imagine the front pages if the sory had been 'China or Russia attempts to 'take down' British politician?

This is serious stuff that is happening right now and exposed by an excellent piece of journalism. You only of course have to look at who controls most of the British media to work out why this is not being reported. This is aided and abbeted by the fact that 80% of Conservative MP's are 'Friends of Israel'.

For the UK, this Al Jazeera investigation is the proverbial wake-up call. The question, for the British is: Will we sleep on?

Many may dismiss this as the ramblings of a 'lefty' all I'm asking is that you stop and think and start to look at other news sources because the UK media cannot be trusted in any shape or form.
