BBC programmes reducing a family's carbon footprint

Apparently you have to go meat free to reduce your carbon footprint, and drink soya milk.
Industrial soybean crops need large amounts of acid-neutralizing lime, as well as synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides, all of which are creating an environmental hazard. Toxic chemicals from soy production contaminate the forest, poison rivers, destroy wildlife and cause birth defects in humans.
I am writing to the BBC to ask where they got their carbon footprint figures. I am fuming!

It'll be the usual places for top-flight vegan suspension of belief.

On tv now. They just said that meat contributes to over 50 % of carbon emissions in the UK !!!!! I could not believe what I was hearing,I expect the NFU PR team will be straight onto them, won't they ?
You have to question the general IQ of humans if they actually are taken in by this. I honestly thing we are regressing as a race. We actually sent Capt Kirk up to space in a penis and not one reporter mentioned it, they'd rather present this utter bollox as fact.

Cancel your licence.

I’ve written countless emails to them about their biased reports, including the debunking resources from on here, they’re not interested, there’s an agenda to be played out of which they are the mouthpiece and they don’t give a toss about you or I. You get some faux concerned email a month later in reply, copied and pasted by some vegan intern which says theyre sad to hear you disagree, they then regurgitate the same shite saying they’ve looked into the complaint and consider it closed and that’s the end of it.

I don’t miss live tv, it’s mostly shite anyway. Get GBNews channel on a 1 minute delay on youtube. Simon McCoy and Kirstie Gallagher are brilliant in the morning, great chemistry and Simon’s a sarcky sod which I like, far better than that gobshite Munshitty and co on BBC. The evening shows with Farage, Dan Wooton and Colin Brazier are very good. Plus Neil Oliver on Saturday does a good show.

Only thing I’ll miss on live telly is the rugby, but I’ll just have t invite myself somewhere else during 6nations.

There’s no point, they’re not interested in facts, cancel your licence and pull the aerial out.

I cancelled it years ago, I would highly recommend it.

Exaxtly what I thought. Demonizing beef eating, yet glorifying space tourism with not so much as a mention of its unecessary carbon emissions.

Came home to see them spouting their cr@p as “factHal” and was seriously unimpressed. Put All creatures Great and Small on on channel 5, only to see an advert for vegan bloody food! 😡

I don't miss the tellie at all. Years ago I could happily come in and slump in front of the TV for several hours before bed, but the aerial blew down in a gale and I couldn't be bothered to mend it so I simply gave it up. I have plenty of classic films to watch with the projector and really enjoy chatting with like minded folks about hobbies, etc on various forums instead of absorbing all this sh**e they pump out in one direction from their transmitters.

Well it it made me smile yesterday in the local paper.
They had a 4 page article on the woes of the planet and how we are destroying it and slap bang in the muddle was an advert for 2 big poultry farms for sale !!
