But lots of callers with experience of abattoir's saying the complete opposite ?

So why did the BBC give this vegan nut job a voice to slander the meat trade ?

Because the whole country is going soft an they won’t be happy until we’re all eating dandelions an giving each other a ?
If they think the way we do things in this country is lacking they ought to go an have a look else where, where the standard of care an husbandry is less an the regulations around slaughter is at best slack shall we say

For many years we have paid for a biased news outlet called the bbc.It has got far worse since the start of the new century.Oh I wish we had a NEWS channel rather than the views of some or other correspondent who know in the main sweet foxtrot about what they spouting about. In previous times we had folk like Oliver Walston who knew exactly what they were talking about, but today- nothing

Can you imagine if a BBC reporter was openly and proudly racist and had put together a piece for broadcast on black men raping children! Or perhaps was a pro-life supporter and had put together a piece condemning abortion Or perhaps homophobic and creating a report that lay into gay marriage They would never seen air time again would they??

They put this kind of content on the air because they know people on both sides of the argument will tune in and be outraged about it. They know its not fair. They are not in the 'fair business, they're just trying to get viewers and listeners and keep their jobs.
By listening, sharing and posting on here, you're helping them.
Stop tuning in, you'll feel much better for it.

Seriously guys, don't get in a twist over this. Who the fudge listens to radio two anyway? Dentists on their way to work?
er...I thought it frequently hit highest radio ratings....or did I imagine that?

I listen to it, having migrated with Steve Wright. Hate Elaine page, love Johnny Walker
