BBC Remainer bias

I only follow uk weather with regard to my sons harvest. Am I correct in thinking you had lovely summer weather then this clown became pm and it’s rained ever since?
Ha ha!
June was as wet as feck.
July has been a bit hit and miss at times, but we did break the record temperature wise soon after our Brilliant Boris was elected as PM.
Whether that means anything or answers you question, I don’t know.

Whatever, our media will always remain as miserable as feck, no matter what the weather is. Typically it is more important to them that we are doomed due to climate change rather than that the weather was glorious.

Do you get the same sort of miserable bar-stewards in charge of the French media?
The sort of absolute twits that enjoy being miserable?
Then enjoy even more trying to make everybody else miserable too?

France24, Factual, Accurate, Undramatic, Un-Fictional, intellectual, Sometimes drab, not Very High Energy. Low budget, natural, not highly controved agenda, nato/social propaganda is rarer. Sometimes Adventurous reporting. I prefer it, it’s a bit flawed. it’s the most real-true and unbiased. France doesn’t have as controlled/lucrative press as the UK. it is controlled for domestic issues more than international ones. it doesn’t have a history of government control and funding, making it more independent, and sometimes much more commercial. F24 is not commercial, it’s straight at the moment.

Liberalism = Facism.

I've been stating this for a while.

Liberalism has been used Globally as the foundation for World government. We have "Liberalism" in the EU & UN - both of which see themselves as world governance.

Liberalism is seen by those proponents as the ONLY viable system of politics and the complete denial of others democratic rights.

From Liberalism has come Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking, Drugs, Gang Violence and IMHO more wars - such as that going on over the past few years in Yemen - prosecuted by an Islamic coalition under Saudi Arabia - those well known Liberals, who spent the last several thousand years enslaving people BTW.

Liberalism is a failure on multiple levels, taken over by criminal elements interested in fast money and power.
So how exactly , do you put Saudi Arabia, and its proxy war with that other bastion of freedom Iran, together with Liberalism.
Rather like suggesting those other liberal heroes, Hitler and Stalin and their proxy war in Spain 80 years ago was all in persuit of liberal ideals

Ah you should know this already.

Saudi Arabia led the UN Human Rights chair .. you know that well known Liberal organisation .. Saudi Arabia being a bastion of free speech & equal rights and all.

Whatever the event, left wingers (with constant gut-ache) seem to interpret it differently to right wingers (who normally have a happier more tolerant disposition).

Whether the above is sensible or not, there is no doubt that TV Journalists and most Politicians do not reflect public opinion.

A media which misinforms

By johnredwood | Published: August 6, 2019

The contrast between the way much of the conventional media reports on the European continent compared to their reports on the USA and UK has never been starker. We regularly hear every Democrat criticism of President Trump and every Lib Dem and Labour jibe about Boris but never hear the AFD tearing into Mrs Merkel nor National Rally assailing Mr Macron.
The choice of topics is also skewed. We hear regular reports into poverty, racism and violent crime in the USA or UK but no such coverage of France or Germany. The mass protests in France for almost a year along with the deaths and woundings of protesters by the security forces usually go without mention. The nasty outbreaks of violence in Germany linked in their media to minority criminal elements in the recently arrived migrant population and to groups of local people who oppose the migration policy by violence go largely unremarked.
The strange double standards applies to reporting austerity politics. Any cut in public spending in the UK within the context of an overall state budget rising in real terms is reported as unacceptable austerity. The true homes of austerity economics in parts of the Eurozone go little discussed, even though there we have seen cash cuts in wages, cash cuts in state pensions, large layoffs and the rest. There is a refusal to see that the Uk Treasury’s whole programme of increased taxes and limited spending rises was based on the EU requirement to see state debt as a percentage of GDP falling.
Even more curious is the differential approach to new laws. If they come from the EU they get little criticism and often little coverage.Anything proposed here or by Mr Trump is likely to get energetic and critical debate. The massive data law GDPR had a big impact on business costs and priorities for many months yet it was as if it did not exist in much of the media. Imagine the rows if a UK government had proposed that.

The USA and UK have made good progress in creating jobs and cutting unemployment. The mass unemployment of much of the Eurozone and the unacceptably high youth unemployment in much of the south gets little attention. Remain inclined media ought to be as scandalised about unemployment and poverty in Greece or southern Italy as they are about lesser amounts in UK blackspots. The EU ideal should create equal concern about anywhere in the Union.
Over our many years in the EU much of the media have denied the EU has much impact on our lives. Now we are leaving that same media tell us the EU is so critical to so many aspects of our lives we cannot live without it. No wonder so many people now say back “We don’t believe you.”
