As my beans look some where between rubbish and crap and I'm not looking forward to paying a contractor to cut them. I also feed all of them. I was thinking about baling and wrapping them while the beans are still green. My questions are is it do able
and do they make decent feed?

Yes and yes. It's not great stuff and is a pain to cut and bale. It comes out black and slimy but the cattle are it.

We used to do them as (Clamp) whole crop at home. They were very wet (juice running out of trailers after a mile cart, and black by the time they got home). It consistently analysed at 17%CP and the cows would go mad for it if you chucked a bit in front of them. We used to sandwich it between layers of Wholecrop Wheat to soak up the excess juice.

Not sure how it would work in bales on it’s own though.
