I have a field with an uneven timothy stand. I drilled spring beans and let the ewes in to eat the timothy before emergence of the beans. They ate it and the beans are up. Seems like they didn’t go for the bean shoots. Now the beans are standing still due to cold weather but the grass grows.. Will the ewes eat the beans or once again go for the grass if I let them back on it?
