Get some pics up, save us hunting beef pic thread (y)

Right, here you go - been waiting to have our scanner out as two of these have had a couple of cows each and both have got theirs in calf.

The white / blue bull is out of our NewPole Feisty , March 17, not been used as yet as still on the young side but good, fine boned young bull out of a very good cow. Definitely good prospect for dairy herd. £3000

The black and white bull is just two years old, now proven. Would go either suckler or dairy, Very athletic bull. £3000.00

The dark blue roan bull is a January 17 - big lad - by the easy calving Mountjoy Utopia. Proven. Ideal for either dairy or suckler. £3,500

Free delivery up to 200 miles. Call or text Phil on 07885 721217 for further info

Looks like our average was about £800. I oh thing that looks like they sold better was close to calving heiress and billing heifers. Any lots you want to know the price for. Cows came today they looked fine and very milky. Quite surprised we got them for that price tbh

What did lots 11, 11A and 18 make? Did you buy any of the Dazzle family? Some of them will make great brood cows.

Yes we bought 11 £600 her calf made £500. We bought 18 as well £880. Not crazy tbh. We bought about 19 cows and 1 billing better from there.
Very downbeat report on Norton and Brooksbank web page.I had 11A marked down, you have done well! (They would be sold in guineas though) Not many of the old herds left now,or Terling and Lavenham breeding. It was a bit too far for me to travel and worried about TB.

Carp your going to be disappointed with my photos. Cows sold alright. Incalf and calved heifers were disappointing. Bloody good cows Holstein e and jersey were good quality too. Bulls sold really well. Most the best cows I would say have gone to ireland. 247 6000 g for bull. Lot 196 3500g to reed. Top better lot 304 2400g

There seems to be a good demand from Ireland, most of the Beaufort in-calf heifers plus 11 from here went to Ireland to a man who lost 40% of his herd to TB.

Did you buy any @dairyrow how do the Culverness & Shorne compare now they are on your system ?

Northern Ireland or southern? It's strange that cows are being imported here cause you couldn't give them away around here at the moment. I'm in the South by the way.
