No, but You will:LOL:
No, this isn't right at all.

Julie and me have done a fair bit of drudge over the years and - trust me on this - drudge is a waste of time. It may not feel like it at the time, but when you look back on it, it will become clear.

I'd suggest that, in an era of an ageing farming population, it may be about working smarter, not harder.

No one will remember some rich dude, but everyone will remember a prized cattle breeder:)

Hitler laid plans to invade Switzerland, so that it was only the distraction of Barbarossa that saved the Swiss from the same fate as the rest of occupied Europe.

And it's pretty clear that the Swiss would have fought (some, maybe,a bit harder than others) to resist an invasion by Germany, so I'd not be inclined to be so hard on a sensible people who are doing their best, and have been doing their best for 80 years or so.
interesting take on history, but im talking morals

i had to buy a farm first before i could invest in land for my families future,,,,they will get the fancy holidays not me,,,,,and am glad to let em..lets hope its all appreciated.

No guarantees I am afraid that they will have the same work ethics as you.

In my career I have seen a welder who was an expert in fluxes and alloys, approach both British Steel, and offer to repair the rollers in their rolling mills, and the British Docks Board for repairing Lock Gates, both of which were considered un-reparable.

Both companies were Cynical, but as the cost of repair was a lot less than replacement, they both decided to give him a go.

He proved his point, and British Steel used to transport Strip Mill Rollers from Ravens Craig in Scotland to South Wales for Repair. Similarly the British Docks Board used to send Lock and Dry Dock Gates from the whole of the UK.

Built up a very profitable business.

Sons were "Playboys" and enjoyed the Good Life while it lasted.

When he died, the whole Empire collapsed.

Do not bet on your children and grandchildren, particularly if you give them everything on a silver spoon, to have the same values as you.

The old adage is "Spare the Rod, and Spoil the Child."

In Nanny State we live in, I am not suggesting you "beat sh!t out of your children", but would suggest you do not let them have everything their own way.

If at any point you wish to "beat sh!t out of your children", I suggest you hire a boat and do it outside UK Territorial Waters.;)

As I am so often reminded over the years the forums which exist in England are for the English. Then why the heck none for our ex colonies of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland.
As regards the banking history of the UK ( before Her Majesty devolved her soveriegn rights ) HSBC means what or could we equally bring up Jardine Matheson or Clive of India or royal patronage of pirates in the Carribean. Now masquerading as offshore tax havens.
Result of the referendum in the Falklands. Where from did the original settlers come.

End of this Hong Kong closes days trading, London takes over, Then New York starts. Singular common factor all UK.
London trades more in 1 hour than Frankfurt does in a full days trade.
