Climate change: Answers to your most asked questions

Churning out the stuff about beef being the worst food for the environment. I notice the list does not include palm oil or rice.... rice has now been found to be much worse for the environment than they thought, as the main culprit is methane, a potent greenhouse gas emitted from flooded rice fields as bacteria in the waterlogged soil produce it in large quantities.

There is no name on the article. They have not done any research into whether the claims made by
Poore and Nemecek (2018) are right. A quick search would find articles showing that beef is not the culprit like this good one by Richard Young (SFT Policy Director) - Claims against meat fail to consider bigger picture.

So the Beeb, read by many, can print this sort of rubbish and it will be believed if you say it often enough.

I am going for a lie down in a dark room...

Don't forget my favourite pet hate soya beans, bad for the environment, bad for human health but good for big pharma.
