No idea - I've given up trying to guess what's going to happen. What’s driving the lamb trade, January is usually a tricky month but prices are rising weekly. One wonders if the peak price will come earlier this year with the delay in NZ and Aus lamb hitting the shelves ?
Is their any to come from over the water...and if so what price will it be,i have been told our lamb is the cheapest in the world...Interesting is the only comment I can makeWhat’s driving the lamb trade, January is usually a tricky month but prices are rising weekly. Drawing ewe lambs is not a good idea your need them to produce for you in the years aheadNo idea - I've given up trying to guess what's going to happen.
Had £96 for 40kg lambs this week, so what we've got left are off ASAP. They need selling at that, IMHO. Holding them, hoping for it to go up more could be false economy. They're only eating stuff that the ewes could have.
If it keeps going up, then good luck to those who've hung on - could be tempted to draw on the ewe lambs if it does
Do they start selling at pen 1 every week?No idea - I've given up trying to guess what's going to happen.

You sell them now whilst sky high and buy shearlings back in the autumn when the job collapsesDrawing ewe lambs is not a good idea your need them to produce for you in the years ahead
