Yes they are(y) ( currently )

Local pizza place is doing delivery's and another is open like the Chippy.

Mobile Pizza van that goes to the villages is still on the road and the local one that parks in a car park at weekends doing Thai food is still open as usual.

No reason why Maccy ds shut their drive thru as that is classed as a takeaway but the company seems to have taken the easy option and put all the staff on the 80% wage thing.
Everything is shut around here. There was a good chippy van that came to the village but he stopped to.

That is the problem, businesses that should not have shut and which the govermment didn't think would shut down have done!

Most car garages around here are shut down, just plain madness!

Farming isn't immune to what lies ahead either in 6/12 months + time and it wouldn't surprise me if beef cattle aren't sub £2 deadweight and prime lambs at £40 quid head if this farce of a lockdown carry's on any longer than another 3 weeks!

Oh forget to say @Shebb90

Vosa are still operating like normal and pulling in lorry's/ buses for on the spot checks everyday on the M5 this week.....

Which makes a complete farce of these businesses being shut down due to the virus situation being so serious......

Just doesn't add up!

What is farcical about the lockdown? If people would stick to it better it would be all over allot sooner. Instead some not all are a bit meh towards it for some reason they dont just shut a country down for no reason.

Media drove the shut down.

And if the situation is so serious that we need the country locked down why are VOSA still operating like normal and pulling in lorry's and buses for routine checks??..................

I think the economic reality is setting in, the government has extended its overdraft and I think the onus will be on getting the country open for business as soon as it's safely possible

Yep whilst millions of people are losing their jobs/ home and businesses that may have took decades to build up.

Disgusting, one rule for them and another rule for everyone else!
I think that's a bit ott at this point, no one has lost their business or house around here due to the disease to my knowledge.
